Butt weld, socket weld and threaded steel pipe caps NPS 1/2''-48'' (DN 12-1200), in carbon, stainless and alloy steel, for closing and waterproofing pipe ends. Primary purpose: to waterproof the connections; also closes ends of hydraulic or pneumatic pipes/tubes. Carbon steel cap (head cap) welds or threads onto pipe ends to block pipelines - same function as plug and blind flange.
