The Fitting Range Behind a Press System
A press system is decided by its fittings as much as by its tool. The range covers DN15-DN50 in carbon steel with a red plastic coating, running from simple couplings and caps through 90 and 45 degree elbows to female tees in A, B and C configurations and threaded adapters.
The external diameter runs 18-54 mm with a 1.5 mm wall, so the joint, the fitting and the tube are matched across the range. Connections are made by pressing rather than welding or threading, which removes hot work from the installation.
Where the Range Is Used
Water supply and fire protection pipework in residential and public buildings, rail and transit works, exhibition venues and landmark projects - wherever a flame-free joint is preferred and the installation has to move quickly.
