Three-Layer Structure
Layer one is fusion-bonded epoxy at 80 um minimum, layer two an adhesive of 170-250 um, layer three polyethylene of 1.8-3.7 mm. Minimum finished coating runs from 2.5 mm at OD <=273.1 mm to 3.3 mm above 813 mm; on SAW pipes the seam area may be reduced by up to 10%.
Standards
DIN 30670/30671/30678, ISO 21809-1:2011, SY/T 0413-2002, CAN/CSA Z245.21, NFA 49-710 and Shell DEP 31.40.30.31 govern the system; water service can add internal cement-mortar lining to AWWA C104/A21.4.
Buried Pipeline Service
Natural gas and petroleum transmission, water and sewage systems, and buried or underwater pipelines within the ISO 21809 scope.
